Ideal Day in Malta: the Perfect Mix of Sea, Drinks & Party
Wanna live a day that slaps from start to finish? Sea chill, city vibes, cheap shots, fire tunes, and dope encounters?
I’m Martin, 24, promoter in Malta since May 2024, and here’s my version of the perfect day, the one that hits hard from 10:30am till 4 in the morning… without a single boring moment.
Kick Off an Ideal Day in Malta with the Spirit of Malta Cruise
A Catamaran to Forget Everything
At 10:30 sharp, you board the Spirit of Malta in Sliema Ferries.
It’s a sleek catamaran, ideal for a chill day out at sea, isn’t it?
There’s no set itinerary, the crew sails based on the weather. But expect fire stops: maybe Blue Lagoon, maybe even quieter hidden gems.
Onboard?
A full buffet around lunchtime, unlimited drinks (water, softs, beer, wine) all day long!!
And if you want to go one level up, stronger booze is available too.
Honestly, this is the core of an ideal day in Malta.
You’re barefoot, drink in hand, soaking up the sun, vibing to the beats, laughing with strangers you met an hour ago…
No signal, no pressure, just pure good energy.
Comino Speedboat: the Boost You Didn’t Know You Needed
For €15 per person, hop on a speedboat that flies right next to cliffs, secret coves and crazy caves around Comino.
You’ll get insanely close, salt in the air, phone in hand, pure dopamine.
Spoiler: everyone’s camera is out at this moment.
That Vibe Onboard? It Changes Everything
By afternoon, the volume’s up, people are grooving.
It’s not a full-blown boat party, but it kinda feels like one.
You’re dancing, laughing, toasting. The sun’s still high, the playlists are hitting right.
At around 5:30pm, you’re back at Sliema Ferries, fresh and pumped for round two.
Food Stop at KUPS: Essential in an Ideal Day in Malta
Time for a refuel at KUPS (check their menu 👉 kups.com.mt).
You order a corn dog or their famous homemade kups with complimentary kimchi, and sit facing the ferry bay, and crash at a table overlooking the Sliema ferries bay.
Right across? Valletta slowly lighting up. The sea. Boats. The city coming to life.
It’s the breather between sea vibes and city chaos and it feels good.
Student Night Out in Paceville: the Unmissable Night Phase
Cheap Shots, Erasmus Vibes & Promoters on Deck
After a 25–30 min walk from Sliema (or a quick Bolt), you land in Paceville.
First stop? Bellini.
The place is buzzing. There are plenty of students, expats, erasmus students everywhere, and yeah, some promoters like me ready to drop event invites.
And since I’ve got connections here, I can tell you exactly what’s worth your time.
Pro tip: don’t stay glued to your crew.
Bellini is built for chats with strangers, party tips, free entry codes… or just to laugh for no reason.
If a promoter talks to you, hit them with two questions: “how much?” and “where’s it at?” Sort it out but stay cool.
Footloose: Right at the Core of Clubbing in an Ideal Day in Malta
Footloose ain’t some random club that barely moves.
It’s your entry point to the Paceville experience.
Expect:
- tracks you already have in your phone (TikTok bangers, Bad Bunny, Shakira, Hamza)
- a wildly mixed crowd (locals, Erasmus, interns, chill tourists)
- no pressure energy, just pure let-loose vibes
You’re dancing to the year’s biggest hits. Everyone agrees.
This is where it really starts hitting. And where you actually connect with people, no fake stuff.
The Hive: Urban Spot to Flip the Mood in Your Ideal Day in Malta
Wanna switch up?
Hit The Hive. It’s been revamped recently with a bold, urban vibe, RNB, hip-hop, afrobeat, trap…
The club’s wide, has space to move, LED lights above your head, cozy corners and crystal-clear sound.
This is where the clean, aesthetic and hype crowd shows up.
Go follow @hivemalta on Insta. you’ll feel the energy instantly!!
Club H: Closing Out in Full French Mode
Final stop (it’s way past 3am): Club H.
You walk in and boom — it feels like a pre-drinks spot in Lyon, Lille or Marseille.
They’re singing in French.
They’re blasting Jul, Aya, PNL, Naps, SCH. All of it.
You’re surrounded by Frenchies… and random internationals yelling “Bande organisée” without a clue. And that is perfect, that is what everyone need in a club. It’s the fam.
Go check their page on FastTrackClubs, you will see why everyone ends up there.
My Ideal Day in Malta? This One. No Doubt.
From catamaran in the morning to Club H at night, passing by KUPS, Bellini, Footloose and The Hive…
You’ve got it all: ocean, chill, hype, music and people.
I’ve done this loop dozens of times. And every time, it hits different.
But the constants? Pure joy. Vibes. Real memories.
So if you’re in Malta, young, curious and down to move — this plan is made for you.
