Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Motion Graphics Designer Intern to join our creative team at Hive Club Malta. In this apprenticeship role, you will have the opportunity to explore and create visual designs and artistic motion graphics that sync seamlessly with the music played by our DJs. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills, work with cutting-edge technology, and gain hands-on experience in the world of live visuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative and technical teams to design and create motion graphics that complement live music performances and DJ sets.
- Use Resolume Arena and other industry-standard software to design, animate, and project visuals on our LED screens.
- Experiment with new visual styles and effects to enhance the overall clubbing experience.
- Assist in the preparation and testing of visuals for events and performances.
- Work with sound and lighting teams to ensure visual designs are in sync with music, atmosphere, and audience energy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in motion graphics, video design, and visual technology.
Requirements:
- A keen interest in motion graphics, animation, and visual design.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Familiarity with Resolume Arena or other video projection software is a plus, but not required.
- A creative mind with the ability to think outside the box and push artistic boundaries.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A passion for music, live events, and the nightlife industry.
- Previous experience in motion graphics design (even through personal projects) is an advantage.
